Cindy has many passions including leadership, what’s global, new experiences, making a difference, and life-long learning. She is currently learning Spanish in an effort to develop new friendships and fulfill several of these passions. She has a B.A. in Business Administration and experience in commercial lending. She has 20+ years of volunteer experience and helped to resettle refugees in Fargo, which led to an assistant director position for an immigrant advocacy program of Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service (Baltimore, MD). Her volunteer work with Moms In Prayer International (Poway, CA) also led to a paid position as their U.S. Mountain Region Director. In 2009, she started a new career with PULSE and worked for evangelist Nick Hall as the ministry’s Development Director.

Now retired, she is currently on the local committee (board) for Child Evangelism Fellowship of the FM Area. Additionally, she has advised several local non‑profit ministries on various fundraising related issues.

"I love Jesus. He is my Savior and personal Lord. I value what I call 'conspicuous spiritual' conversations with people, so I look for those opportunities. I treasure the word of God and use it as the light on my life’s path (Ps 119:105)."

Cindy cares deeply about those who don’t have a voice for themselves. "Unseen gives many in need a voice. Serving those who reach out to orphans, those trafficked, the hungry and the poor by being a part of the Board gives me an opportunity to in turn serve Jesus as Matt 25:40 says, '. . . whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.'"
